The man should always pay if he is trying to date the lady. At least prove to her that he can take good care of her. But in an already married couple, the payment should not be restricted to the man always. Sometimes the lady can take an husband out to dinner to show appreciation and remind him of her love for her.

Well any one can pay. If the guy has more nothing will happen if he pays and if the lady has more , she should take care of it.

My first date(outing it paid the bill)

That is it.

Men naturally have ego, even if he does not have the money for his first date he will surely go and borrow.Dont expect a guy  will allow her date pay for restaurant bill on the first date.they feel the lady will not show them enough respect.Wise up oh na naija we day.
