Nigeria Needs Your Influence!

WWW
« on: July 10, 2008, 02:16:05 PM »

I recently did a google search on webhosting companies in Nigeria. I discovered that my site www.lagoshost.com is on page 3 on the google search.

I want to make it come to the first page. Can anyone tell me how to go about this.

Thank you all.

There are a number of steps you can take.

Out here in the US I run an organization (I won't mention it here so it doesn't seem like I'm self-promoting) that takes local companies and helps them dominate their local market for the services they provide and this is how we do it. "Local" is local to where the business is and it can be anywhere in the world.

The costs start from $2,500 and I get every company on to page 1 of Google...guaranteed!

Here's just a little of the exact things I do as a service provider and what you should consider.

1. Optimize your page for the search engines

2. Get backlinks to your site

3. Use articles to drive traffic to your site

4. Write a press release and submit it to press release sites

5. Understand the KEYWORDS that your customers use to locate your services then dominate them

6. Look at your site design and see if there's anything you need to change to make it search engine friendly

7. Create a blog for your company

8. Use social media marketing to promote your site, i.e. Facebook, Digg, MySapce, StumbleUpon etc

9. Give away free information

10. Perform competitor analysis to find out what the other guys are doing

These are just 10 of the things we do to help companies in areas where there is tough competition. Unless you now some very effective tactics, your site needs to be on page 1 of Google.

Hope this helps.

PS: I have been planning on running a seminar for Nigerian businesses at some stage to show them how to take their offline businesses online and attract clients and dominate their market using the internet. It may be a webinar if I get enough people. If you know of a company or companies that can co-sponsor the event please let me know.
